The travel-friendly Nudestix Nudies ($xxx each, available in 5 shades)

I don't how this happened, because it feels similar I've been looking forwards to this trip forever, but I'g leaving for Hawaii in less than ii weeks! — which means that I probably should start packing RIGHT NOW.

It's all most portable beauty, and I'k hell-aptitude on finding multitasking makeup to bring that won't have up a lot of room, and so equally to have more than room to bring home dashboard hula girls, macadamia basics and the like.

Allow's make this a series! I'thou gonna phone call it "Take Me With Yous," and the first entry is these new Nudestix Nudies. They were recently added to the Nudestix permanent line.

Nudestix is a cruelty-free Canadian brand, and everything in their line comes in a pencil or some kind of stick packaging.

Yes, this makes them neat for travel.

Makeup in the palm of your hand

The Nudies are multipurpose creams for your cheeks, lids and lips. They're $30 each and come in five shades. 1 stop has a cream stick, and the other end has a dense, soft brush to apply and blend the product.

I've tried two of them — cool pink Bare Back (um…which I'thou pretty certain refers to something naughty) and rosy nude Naughty N' Spice.

Bare Back on my cheeks and Naughty Due north' Spice on the lower part of the apples of my cheeks. And that'south Kosas Undone Lipstick on my lips.

I love using these equally cream blushes because they last forever and a 24-hour interval on my dry cheeks. Non to mention (although I'grand mentioning it now), they don't button around any products I wear underneath them, like if I'm sporting a tinted moisturizer, BB foam and/or concealer. They also apply evenly and stay intact throughout the day.

Meet the brush?

When I utilise them every bit blushes, I load upward a finger by rubbing the cream stick a few times, so I dab that on my cheeks and blend either with my fingers or the brush on the other end of the stick. They pretty much piece of work the same way whichever one I employ.

And they'll work as lipsticks in a compression…just the mattes will grab on whatever lip flakes, so I'd get a lip balm up in there, either nether or on peak of them.

Fruit-infused water

OK, so this 18.6-oz. canteen doesn't concur most enough water to carry me for long (I potable A LOT of water, or at least I try to), but this new doohickey is so much fun, so I've been using it anyway. It's a tea infuser by Grosche.

The infuser is congenital into the bottom of the bottle. Technically, it's designed for loose tea, just chopped fruit, herbs and whatnot fit in there just fine. Today I made a strawberry and blackberry combo.

The bottle'due south cute and totally works, but I just wish it was most three times bigger!
