I may or may not need someone to pour a saucepan of relaxing lavender-scented balm on me if/when I watch some of the movies on my summertime sentinel list.

First time I tried, I couldn't make it through the trailer! I read about it in Entertainment Weekly, and apparently when it was screened at some movie festivals this yr, people left the theater screaming and crying!

It comes out June 8th — the day before my b-day (GEMINI IN THE HOUSE!).

Yup, my movie wish listing is already near a mile long considering El Hub and I only go every few months, which is probably just as well since I'thousand the person who has to accept a true cat nap at present in the heart of a picture. Information technology's happened in every film nosotros've gone to since Connor was born. Put me in a night room, and BAM! — I'm asleep. ?

Granted, I don't recall that will happen if nosotros go run across Hereditary (don't you lot only beloved Toni Collette?).

It looks scary as FRACK.

My buddy Suz in the comments mentioned Anything the other mean solar day, and it looks dainty and intense. Information technology stars Natalie Portman, and I meet it available on iTunes to rent. I think we'll watch that this weekend.

And, of course, there'southward Crazy Rich Asians…

I mostly want to spotter it for Constance Wu because I dearest her in Fresh Off the Gunkhole. She'southward hilarious on that bear witness — totally reminds me of my Asian tiger mom in the '80s and '90s. Hopefully I tin can read the book before seeing the film!
